Society Background

Property bearing survey no. 89/2, 90/2 Kothrud CTS. No.-983,984,979 plot no 25,26,27 admeasuring about 3514.19 sq. mt. The property originally belonged to NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY and by the sale deed made and executed 7 th December 1956. The property was purchased by the SHRI SHRINIVAS KESHAV JOSHI from National construction company. However due to the implementation of the U.L.(C.& R.) ACT 1976.

Mr S.K. Joshi holding other properties submitted return under sec 6(1) of U.L.(C.&R ) ACT 1976. under section 20 of urban land act . The GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASHTRA was pleased to exempt this land from provision of Urban land act in terms of the Exemption order No. PUN-1087(83) Desk-XIV dt 1.12.87 for the development of the property.

Shri Shriniwas k. Joshi executed an agreement of the development with the M/S. TOWNSCAPE CONSTRUCTION. on 15 August 1988. SHRI NIRANJAN S KELSHIKAR and SHRI MILAPCHAND W KHADIWALE & some of the partners of the townscape construction company developed the property. And over the period various residential and commercial units were constructed. then Member's formed & incorporated VRUNDAVAN GARDEN SAHAKARI GRUHRACHANA SANSTHA MARYADIT which has been duly registered on 21.7.92

Today vrundavan garden co op housing society has 95 members with 77 flats and 18 shops.
